Music in the education system in London

According to the 2014 Music Report, nearly 1 in 3 primary school students never learned to play a musical instrument. The reason given was that the cost of learning is too expensive. With music being squeezed out of the London curriculum, many primary school students don’t have the opportunity to learn music from a young age, except if parents can afford it. Sixtine Marion reports.
